About Beau
What we like about Beau is how little it tries to be everything — it does 3d bubble typeface, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. It comes from Creativeguru. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 1 review, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. With 2 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. Our own plan for it is beau font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Type book cover font, craft svg font, cricut display font and cute balloon typeface into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. On this site it lives on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing decorative and dingbat fonts rather than searching for it by name. The searches that bring people to this shelf are blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The neighbouring searches are decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
