About Beach Dingbats
Beach Dingbats earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to beach fonts, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. 5.0 out of 5 from 2 reviews — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. The designer behind it is edywiyonopp. Plenty of people got here before us: 192 of them saved it.
Our own plan for it is ocean, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
