About Battle

Most of what turns up under adventure font needs work before it is usable. Battle is the version that does not. Only 3 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It is TaralArt's work. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 2 reviews, all of them on the listing.

Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. The obvious job for it is aesthetic font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether adventure font is really what you are getting.

Type alphabet font, battle font, blackletter and block font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Nearby you will see decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We track what people actually type before they land here: blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. We filed it under Decorative and Dingbat Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
