About Back to School 3d
What we like about Back to School 3d is how little it tries to be everything — it does 3d font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It is Army Custom's work. Only 41 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Our own plan for it is back to school alphabet, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
