About Abstract Plants
What we like about Abstract Plants is how little it tries to be everything — it does aesthetic, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 14, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is Ketsarin. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. Set the headline you actually want in the preview before deciding it carries more. If you want one use for it, take affinity designer font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether aesthetic is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
